The town’s name is a portmanteau of California, Nevada, and Arizona. It was founded by Nancy and Slim Kidwell in the 1960s on a former military airfield.
To get to the airport from Boulder City, take US-95 South to I-11/US-93 South toward Kingman. The drive to Kingman Airport (IGM) is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
