The River Valley Employee Training Program

River Valley has been servicing homeowners in the tri-state area for over four generations. Our training program is designed to help and prepare our frontline HVAC technicians to better serve our customers and community.

Our River Valley employee training is an in-house training program for our HVAC technicians. River Valley has been in the business for over four generations. With nearly 70 years of experience servicing the community, our company has a reputation for reliability and professionalism.

How long is the training?

Training sessions are every month and run for about 1 to 2 hours each session. Our staff gathers in a designated training room, and we discuss how to get better at handling equipment, how to handle customer complaints, and how to best serve our clientele.

How much does it cost?

No worries about the cost. Our training sessions are free for all of our technicians.

What equipment will I need to bring?

Bring something to take notes, either a pen and paper or a tablet. We engage in many discussions, and it’s a good idea to jot stuff down so you can remember important tips and notes. Also, be sure to bring a willingness to learn and any questions or concerns you may have.

Questions are always welcome, as we want each member of our team to feel better and more confident about serving our community.

Do I need prior HVAC knowledge before starting?

Yes, we would advise anyone taking this training to have a basic working knowledge of the HVAC industry and how HVAC systems work. Our in-house training program is geared towards those with experience in the industry.

The primary purpose of our training program is to fine-tune prior knowledge and improve existing processes and customer service practices. We want to make sure that each of our employees represents the River Valley brand name with professionalism, expertise, and customer care.

We also like to address questions from individual staff members and across the board. Everyone learns that way!
