About Fort Mohave
Fort Mohave was originally established in 1859 as Camp Colorado. It was a military post intended to protect American emigrants on Beale’s Wagon Road. In 1890, the fort was transferred to the Bureau of Indian Affairs and converted into a boarding school for Native American children.
To get to the airport From Fort Mohave, take AZ-95 N to NV-163 W. Follow US-95 N/I-11 N to I-215 W in Henderson, then follow signs for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). The drive is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
