About Oatman
Oatman is famous for its wild burros that roam the streets freely. These animals are the direct descendants of the beasts of burden brought by miners in the late 1800s. When the mines closed, the burros were released, and they have thrived in the surrounding hills ever since.
To get to the airport Drive west on the Oatman Hwy (Route 66) to Boundary Cone Rd, then head north to AZ-95 to reach Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport (IFP). The drive is approximately 40 minutes.
